For Immediate Release
San Francisco, CA, August 19, 2003 – Adaptive Path’s training sessions are attracting renowned organizations that want to fundamentally change the way they relate to customers. Wells Fargo, NPR, and Visa are just a few of the clients that have turned to Adaptive Path to learn a new set of standards for interacting with users. Through workshops, conference presentations, and its unique mentoring program, Adaptive Path is not only helping companies fix their Web sites, but also teaching them how to create a sound user experience without any outside help.
The most recent workshop outlining Adaptive Path’s innovative strategies will be held at The Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., August 18-21. The D.C. workshop will host teams from ESPN, LexisNexis, PBS, Target, and The Washington Post, among others. Past attendees have included teams from the United Nations, Charles Schwab and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
“I enjoyed the dynamic combination of speakers,” says Alta Haggerty of the United Nations. “They’re not afraid to speak out on their opinions. Most important of all was the emphasis on designing based on user needs and interests and then the methodologies to do that.”
At the workshops, attendees learn to craft effective user experiences that provide measurable results. Many organizations have taken this training in-house with Adaptive Path’s corporate workshops and mentorship program.
“We teach people how to get rid of us,” says Jeffrey Veen, Adaptive Path partner and author of The Art and Science of Web Design. “If we do our jobs right, our clients don’t need consultants anymore because we teach them how to create the best possible user experience on their own.”
