Interaction Design Summer Reading List
While working on my book, I kept stumbling across or being passed some really great articles…which promptly went into a “Stuff To Read” folder. Now that the book is almost at the printer (yay!), I actually have time to sift through these. I thought I’d share my summer reading list, in case you missed these articles. They are all pdfs:
- How Robot Products Become Social Products by my former professor Jodi Forlizzi
- Leveraging Design’s Core Competencies by Chris Conley
- Computational Information Design, the dissertation of Ben Fry
- Implications for Design by Paul Dourish, supposedly the hit of this year’s CHI
- User Experience and HCI by Adaptive Path founder Mike Kuniavsky
- This is Not a Game: Immersive Aesthetics and Collective Play by Jane McGonigal
- Interaction Design is Language Design by Marc Rettig
- Smart Internet 2010 by Trevor Barr, Alex Burns, and Darren Sharp
- Why Things Matter by Julian Bleeker
Happy reading!
