Breakfast: Microsoft's "A Tour of Atlas"

Tuesday, August 15, 8:00-8:45 AM

by G. Andrew Duthie and David Shadle

"Atlas" is a free framework for building a new generation of richer, more interactive, highly personalized standards based Web applications. In this session, we will explain how Atlas allows you to easily build cross-browser applications that are very responsive to the user, provide a rich experience and allows you integrate client script features with the server side features of ASP.NET. We will demonstrate how existing applications can easily take advantage of "Atlas" features, how to build mash-ups and how you can extend "Atlas" to build Gadgets that can be hosted on Live.com.
