One of my first times in New York when I was a teenager and fresh from reading Cat’s Cradle, I saw Vonnegut walk by the cafe I was eating. It was my first New York moment, and as someone who considers himself a Humanist, I will miss his voice and his humanity.

I wish someone would analyze the increase in the usage of the phrase “so it goes” over the past week.
