We’re looking for contract interaction designers

by peterme

We have some marvelous opportunities for contract interaction designers… And, as hiring managers out there know, finding such folks is challenging right now. So, we thought we’d use our blog.

We’d prefer folks to be located in the SF Bay Area.

We’re looking for part- to full-time Interaction Designers (15-30 hrs/week), comfortable with iterative prototyping alongside fellow designers, a business team, and front-end developers. Adaptive Path is working with forward-thinking clients looking to radically alter their customer-facing web experiences.

We’re looking for a team member who can: participate in in-person research activities, help lead idea generation workshops, and create mock-ups and prototypes to help design the way forward.

Together, we’ll create interactive visions and strategies for organizations ready to move towards web 2.0. Includes occasional travel and frequent on-site work at Adaptive Path. Project lengths vary.

If interested, please email jobs AT adaptivepath DOT com.

Where do great ideas come from?

At Adaptive Path, our ideas are driven by the work we do. We do consulting for user interface and user experience design, and offer conferences, training and education for UX designers.

From field ethnography, UI wireframes and task flows, to visual design and implementation, we do it and we teach it.
