		<description>What a great topic...my personal version (which I think many of your quoted examples are in alignment with) is &quot;Chance favors the prepared mind.&quot; In some ways for me it&#039;s kind of a zen (at least a lay interpretation of what zen means) approach - you do what you know is smart, right, best, etc. And you welcome but don&#039;t rely on the randomness of the universe. Things happen and although they feel lucky, they wouldn&#039;t have happened - or you wouldn&#039;t have been ready for them - if you hadn&#039;t done the smart stuff ahead of time...</description>
