Listen to Steven online; then see him in person!
by petermeIT Conversations recently posted the audio from Steven Johnson’s talk at last year’s Pop!Tech conference, in a session titled Serious Games. It’s a good presentation, where Steven discusses the complexity of online games and the cognitive challenges they provide. It’s followed by a question-and-answer session with other Pop!Tech presenters who discussed games, and gets into interesting discussions of virtual property rights, fears of escapism, and the like.
It’s also worth noting that you have until Thursday, June 1 to sign up at a special discounted rate for User Experience Week (where Steven is giving an opening plenary).
