Davos CEOs Embrace “Design Thinking”
by peterme“Design thinking” is a hotly-debated term within Adaptive Path’s walls. Some believe in its value of encouraging new modes of operating with business; others think it’s more smoke-and-mirrors and lacks any real substance. (Me, I think it flawed for the inherent assumption that “design thinking” is somehow better than other forms of thinking, and should have primacy.)
Anyway, making the rounds of the blogosphere are writeups from from a series of workshops that CEOs took part in at the 2006 Davos World Economic Forum , workshops that promoted the ideas around design thinking. There’s a ton of stuff here, so be prepared to stay a while.
Of particular interest to me were the notes on A World Without Intellectual Property and Culture of Innovation.
