Pam Daghlian

The Team

Pam Daghlian is the events manager at Adaptive Path. Pam has worked in various communications and marketing roles throughout her career in independent bookselling and publishing. Always a customer service geek, it wasn't until Pam joined Zipcar that she first heard the term user experience and was able to put a name to her affliction.

Professional Background

Before joining Adaptive Path, Pam worked for Zipcar as the company's first Corporate Communications Manager and later, Marketing Manager for the Bay Area. Before spending years convincing people it is possible to survive without owning a car, Pam toiled for over a decade in the independent bookselling and publishing world, most notably at the award winning Boston indie bookshop, Brookline Booksmith, where, responsible for running the store's reading series, she experienced the highlight of her professional life — making David Sedaris laugh during her introduction of him. Prior to joining Zipcar's Bay Area operation, Pam worked for San Francisco publisher, Chronicle Books, as their Events Manager.

Pam was raised in the small town of Cadillac, Michigan, most famous for KISS's 1975 homecoming visit. Really
